Book: Write it down make it happen (4/10)

Write It Down, Make It Happen: Knowing What You Want And Getting It by Henriette Anne Klauser

I expected some science and a few stories elucidating why writing things down makes you more likely to get what you want (RAS, etc.), as well as tips on effective journaling.

Instead, it’s a few scattered essays on different writing issues — changing your environment, creating a ritual, rapidwriting, etc. — with no structure.

I am open to letting an author spend one whole book persuading me to do something (e.g. Linchpin by Seth Godin), which is what I wanted this book to do, but it didn’t.

Around chapter 11 (the book is 20 chapters long), I did flip-flip-flip and finally quit the book.

4/10 because it made me buy a new notebook. That’s worth something.
