Day 30 of Ship 30: 3 Unexpected Lessons from Writing Every Day for 6 Weeks on LinkedIn
I just completed Ship 30, writing a LinkedIn post every weekday for 6 weeks. This led to 31 qualified leads, sold out my pilot coaching program with 6 participants, and generated โฌ3.000 in sales.
Hereโs what I learned:

I knew I wanted to write about Project 100, how I moved to Germany, and my unique approach to interviewing.
I thought I'd run out of ideas by Day 10... But now I have 100+ ideas in my โThoughts / Ideas: Writingโ note!
As David Hare (according to Perplexity) wrote:
Writing is an act of discovery. The more you write, the more you discover about what you think and what you feel.

On October 11, I texted a Ship 30 friend how much I'm writing, that I'm loving it, but I want to spend less time doing it.
Then I realized how stupid this is.
I said, "I had a realization... why am i trying to reduce how much time i spend writing?? I love writing and i've been trying to build this habit for years. Now that i have it, i want to starve it ๐ i think the key is not spending less time, but making sure the writing compounds beyond the day's posts."
Taking the time to write and publish your ideas not only adds value to your network but also creates opportunities for connection and reconnection. Many friends, colleagues, and people from my past have messaged, saying how helpful my posts have been.
Itโs fulfilling to shape your experience into something that contributes to your "scene", attracts future employers and interesting connections, or even plants the seeds for a future business.
