Churchill cried a lot, too.
In The last time I cried, I wrote about crying a lot and being easily moved to tears. It took at least 28 years for me to accept it as a fact and not see it as a sign of weakness.
It was comforting to read in The Last Lion that Churchill cried a lot, too.
“I’ve always been blubbery,” he said. No man wept more easily.
Moreover, he told people to just get used to it.
“I blubber an awful lot, you know. You have to get used to it.”
From Churchill: the ‘cry-baby’ war hero.
So for my people out there who cry a lot, take heart. We are in good company. And for the people who work with us, thank you in advance for just getting used to it 😛
